Great post very informative. I知 just working on setting up my R5 2 to pair with the 100-300 for a trip to Alaska in 2 weeks. As I have never been before I知 planning to pair it withe the RF 400 f2.8 just to make sure I知 covered.

I'll be curious to see which lens you used the most and after your trip, if you could only pick one for a trip like that, what would it be?

Companies file design patents all the time with no intention of actually moving forward with it.

Very nice capture!!
100-300 is my favorite lens so far and I would not replace it for that 200-500 F4.
I was hoping Canon had it with the internal 1.4x before it was announced.
