I always have to remember your winter and summers are opposite of what my hemisphere has, but what a great shot and I appreciate the explanation about the tree. Well done. The image is clean, sharp (but not over done), has great color and the exposure was nailed for the light conditions as seen in the detail of the distant snow-covered mountains.
