This week I met my half brother for the first time. I didn't even know he existed until two weeks ago. We get along great, and I'm sad that we spent the last 33 years not knowing about each other, but I'm also very happy that I met him at all. We've hung out a couple times now and I think we are going to be really good friends. Today I took his picture.
Very nice image Daniel. It’s great you are able to establish a relationship with him. My wife experienced a similar case many years ago. Better late than never, and now you have a new photo subject. You should think about getting one of your photography buddies to do some portraits of the two of you.
