Just wow, Morris! These are wonderful -- the first shot is really outstanding. No. 6 is well timed too, with excellent shutter speed to freeze that fast motion. Well done my friend!
P.S. It it Green Heron week or something? I live in north central Austin and just earlier went to pick up an Rx near my home. As I was sitting at a traffic light at a busy intersection, a 'Greenie' landed on the utility line crossing the street -- the first time I've seen that happen. :-)

it just about got out of my frame when it jumped yet I got 5 frames with it before cropping the beak.
It's amazing the things we see on light poles, etc as we drive around. I've never seen a green heron on a traffic light.
Love the first up close and the last where he looks like Usain Bolt coming out of the starting blocks Morris. Greenies never disappoint for antics.
