I haven't read everything, but if the rendering is compared to sigma 45/2.8 ? I understand the difference in focal length and aperture.
I don’t think it’s similar to the Sigma 45/2.8's. The Sigma has one of the smoothest transition zones with zero outlining at any distance. Its lack of correction for spherical aberration contributes to this uniquely smooth rendering.

Can you tell me please which 6-bit code did you use? I'm having a difficult figuring it and i would like to code my lens.
Thank you in advance
I haven't 6-bit coded the lens yet. So far, I've been using the camera code for the Summicron 50mm f/2 (v3)
I recently received this lens. So far, I feel the size to performance ratio is a winner. My copy doesn’t seem to be razor sharp wide open, but certainly adequate. Vignetting is noticeable, but not a dealbreaker. The lens is a good performer in IR - sharp across the frame with no hotspot.
I have not heard an opinion on whether it is possible to use this 50/2.2 and its brother 28/2.8 on Panasonic S9 without a strong problem in the corners?
This lens is a gem. After further testing, I've found that at infinity, it's equal to or better than every one of my 4 other 50mm M mount lenses in sharpness across the frame. The only lens I own that equals it across the frame at f/5.6 is the VM 50mm f/1. Wide open, the f2.2 is better than the f/1 stopped down to f2.4, but the f/1 has a VERY slight advantage at f5.6 with regard to visible aberrations in out of focus areas.
The 50 f/2.2 is very well behaved. I have found that even without a hood, the lens is quite resistant to flare and can be shot straight into the sun with little penalty. The sunstars at more open apertures (2.8 to 5.6) are excellent and a welcome change for handheld shooting vs having to stop down further with most lenses to create well defined sunstars. The size is amazing, just slightly larger than the VM Color Skopar 28mm f/2.8. These two lenses are a great match in size/handling and image quality.

Hi!
almost of topic, I'll remove it if requested.
Hesitating between 40mm and 50mm, how does it compare to the small 40mm f1.4?
And also, from your experience, witch one would accompany best my 28mm F2 asph v2 on a M10? (rendering wise)
Thanks
