Thanks Rudy - The body I use is a Canon 1Dx II. I use two lens, a Canon 100-400mm and a 600mm. When I bring my 600 I carry it in a backpack. To help reduce weight when I'm hiking I no longer use a tripod and instead use a monopod with the 600.

Holy smokes, you must be in incredible physical condition to be able to lug that weight around those mountains for those distances!!?? Good for you!

Thanks Joe, I picked this one up from another member on the B&S forum, and very pleased with it. I wanted some greater crop-ability over the R6 Mk II and it comes through just fine.

I rented a Canon 400 DO II for a trip to Theodore Roosevelt National Park this weekend. Testing it out this morning with a x1.4 III and on an R7 body.
