I am now leading safaris and one of our journeys is Tigers & Leopards of India!
Have procured a fantastic spot to get up close and personal with leopards, we had over 30 leopards sightings in 5 days. It was pure joy watching these big cats, especially the cubs and mothers interacting.
These are some awesome shots of a creature not so commonly visible. Leopards in India have been hunted/driven out of their habitats to near extinction.
Thanks so much for sharing images of these rare cats.
@thedutt, if I have to take a guess, this would be in Maharashtra or Madhya Pradesh. Gujarat does not have such hilly landscapes (not to the extent shown in these photos).

Right on - Gir does have some hills and the landscape seemed similar to Gir, but yes, these hills are fairly large.
People are not in caged jeeps. We also had fantastic sloth bear sightings.
This trip is something i've worked hard to put together to take people to, i would love to take members of fred miranda there. It can be combined with the tiger safari's that I offer as well. Will be going back in March of 2025.
Beautiful photos of my favorite animal. I've always felt the spot/rosette pattern of Asian leopards are slightly different from African ones. Especially like the ones with mother and cub.
