6 Image Series of a Barred Owl In-Flight: The more I shoot the FE 400mm f/2.8 GM the more it becomes my go to lens when shooting Barred Owls. Last week I used the 70-200mm f2/8 GM II and it just didn't pair with the Alpha 1 like the 400mm. I've also used the 600mm and frankly it's a lot of lens for these birds.
