Ever get to Lake Vermillion area Bob? I grew up in Iowa and mt father's family had a cabin on Lake Vermillion(Cook, Ely, Tower, Mn) and my father also worked summers at the Vos Fishing Resort.

I haven’t been to lake Vermillion yet. Sounds like I should go! I usually go to the North Shore of Lake Superior. Very scenic and lots of waterfalls.

Yes it is a GREAT place to fish and take images. I saw my very first aurora there in the mid 1950's,

I have this lens also! I am still muddling my way through all the "bells and whistles" of the GFX100sii.
I have the proper Canon to Fuji adapter but want to make sure I can properly set the camera up to shoot what I want with certain settings!
This image is GREAT!! Great clouds, great texture and super detail all around!

thanks Dan, the 17mm TSE is one of my most used lenses on the GFX.

Thanks....I have a few EF mount lenses, but probably not worth it to me. The 645 lenses cast a larger image than the 44x33 sensor on the Fuji. Not sure if any of my FF lenses will cut the mustard.

Nothing special here but a few quick test snaps with the GF 100-200/5.6. Not sure if I will keep this lens but need it for a specific project. While wide open is only f/5.6, there's enough zoom to blur the background and separate the subject.
