The size of these icebergs are almost incomprehensible, Jeffrey, and your chosen perspective is awe-inspiring, thanks for sharing! What an epic adventure

Is this just day 2 with the 100sii, Bob?!? Beautiful capture, I think you have the local knowledge and talent to produce such work so fast, you sound like you're having a fun with the new system!
Yup, day 2. When I get new gear I have a number of spots for taking photos. This way, I can compare cameras and/or lenses to what I know. And it's fun!

Obsessed! Have I mentioned that?
Great obsession to have, Bob, especially if it's "happy wife, happy life" approved! I think photography is an amazing and healthy life-long passion to enjoy, thanks for sharing your excitement with us all

Since I have a couple of Contax 35mm lenses, I picked up an adapter to try on the GFX. These are with the Contax 50/1.7
Bob these are just super! So crisp, clear, sharp....colors just a pure joy!
Yes I bought a Fringer EF-GFX PRO to use all my arsenal of Canon lenses....I hope the results warrant such a high price.
Thanks!

Thank you Dan! The only Canon EF lens I have is the 40/2.8 ‘pancake’. I’d love to use it on the GFX but it would be a little ridiculous to buy that Fringer adapter solely for that lens!

I'm quickly becoming obsessed with this camera! My wife, who is not a camera person, remarked, "That camera is incredible!"
As I am also Bob!
I was out yesterday walking around Mt Olivet cemetery in Frederick with the 100sii and 100-200...2+ hours. Had a blast!!
I am anxious to see how the duo performed after my Zoom session adjustments.
It was an extremely bright sunny day between 1230-2pm...used the lense hood.

Definitely, Bob, great set to keep exploring, would love to hear your early thoughts on the 100sii experience!

Well, in a word, I am smitten with this camera. My non-photographer wife saw some of my pictures from it and said, "wow that camera takes great pictures." That, after seeing many of my images from Leica and Sony.
I like the features which I continue to learn about. Film simulations, x-pan mode, the ease of setting up custom profiles. Of course, the colors and how workable these 100MP files are. The detail is easy to see. I can go on . . .

Went on my morning dog walk with the GFX 100S II mounted with my Zeiss Contax 50/1.7. It vignettes more when shot wide open but still usable IMHO. Overall, it does a nice job in a compact package. I also have a 28/2.8 that I will try on the GFX.

The soft focus only increases the beauty of your composition "PT"!
Soft focus photography produces a misty, dream-like image, sometimes characterized as romantic. Works very well here!
