also think, that by showing so many images in one post, the quality of the individual images look less. Like, more-of-the-"same" feeling.
25 images can be appropriate as well, I guess, but I prefer less (especially with same subject from many different angles).
Don't know about others. Personal opinion.

There were 17 unique locations out of 26 I posted. Of the 9 remaining, several were either of different vantage points, or portrait vs landscape compositions, etc. So I tried to just pick 5.
There we two waterfalls where I did post quite a few variations with slightly different vantage points.
At the end of the day, posting is more of an art than a science I guess (and I was never strong at art.)
