Finally catching up on some edits from many hikes I have done in my favorite place in the world. I have been coming to the Adirondacks for years. I am an Adirondack 46er among other things. This region is pretty much my "home" although I haven't been in a position to actually purchase land there yet. For now, many weekend trips it is.
All images were taken with my Nikon Z7 except for the two where noted when I had a loaner Z8.
Daniel, stunning work! You’ve earned my vote. I have shot in the High Peaks region of the Adirondacks only once and need to go back. Thanks for inspiring me!

Thank you Carol! The adirondacks have so many mountains to climb, more than just the 46. It truly is a special place.

Thanks Ross, that means a ton coming from you, I always see your work on the forum and am always impressed. Come to the ADK when you have a minute. There is a lot to see at any time of the year.

Beautiful shoot, like fall color
Your images of Adirondacks in Fall are really impressive. As a former New York state resident and the frequent backpacker in Adirondacks I sorely miss the Indian summers of New England. Washington State, where I live now offers different photographic
opportunities, that I truly value. But the colors of Adirondacks...

Hard to beat! I went out to Colorado last fall and it was stunning, but I am still stuck in ADK tunnel vision.

Great collection of beautiful landscape photos - thanks to your sharing
Enjoyable set. I'm especially drawn to the images with the clouds/water vapor draped in the valleys with the ridge lines exposed. Almost like a painting. The Appalachians might be old, but the topology is special.

Hard to beat the fall, thank you!
I appreciate your kind word, Daniel! Look forward to seeing more images from you.
Just saw this thread because you won and it was featured on the front page. Amazing work. They're all beautiful but the one you referred to a stitched mosaic was by far my favorite. Just wonderful. Have you printed these?

Thank you kindly! Yes, I have the first print framed and double matted in my living room. It is my favorite of the set.
