p.3 #2 · Peregrines at Torrey PInes are Attacking Pelicans (again)
Thanks everyone for the kind comments, and for your votes. And thanks to the Peregrines and Pelicans too.
An update on the Peregrines at Torrey Pines, if you are interested. Both nests are thriving. The North nest has four chicks that are rapidly losing their pin feathers and may fledge within a few days. The South nest has three chicks that are covered in pin feathers so have more time before they fledge. The view of the chicks being fed in the South nest is excellent, in particular if the tide is out and you can get further away from the cliff wall to get a good angle into the nest.
