p.2 #3 · Peregrines at Torrey PInes are Attacking Pelicans (again)
Wasn't sure what to say so I started with a vote
Dave, #1 is a Holy Grail prize of an image sir! That is just incredible
Stunning captures followed with very appealing presentations, top of your game on these
p.2 #8 · Peregrines at Torrey PInes are Attacking Pelicans (again)
HEY DAVE, A BEAUTIFUL SET. I am amazed by the courage of that seeming small bird with that huge pelican. All fathers & mothers should be that kind of parent.

Thanks Shirley. The Peregrines are very attentive and protective parents. I think the Pelicans are not much of a threat so they may be terrifying the Pelicans without much cause. Regardless, the Peregrines are very protective of their chicks.
==================================
Yesterday, April 25, we got the first look at chicks in the nest. They are mature enough to crawl to the edge where we can see them. I saw at least two, there may be more.
