Hi Tony. At first I was hoping they would nest there, after thinking about it I thought that large hole was much bigger than I had seen other ones use for a nest. Other people were oblivious to them being there, that red stood out in sunlight for me. Thanks for looking and commenting.

Great color, great presentation and comps as mentioned but it is cool to see how the 'tail fork' is used against the tree. Hope I get lucky and see these guys/gals soon

I’m thrilled to see these pictures, John… I’ve got a pair here at my home too and I’m glad to see that they seem to be holding their own in the wild. The male flies up and down the river valley squawking like crazy. I call him Tarzan. They truly are beautiful and so are all your images.
