What a crazy morning! It was a dive of a life time! Its been awhile since Ive been in the water and today I was greeted by not 1 not 2 not 3 but 4 and later a 5th monk seal! All playing with one another! Truly a rare event! We did our best to keep a good distance as they can be quite unpredictable but they were very curious today! They followed us around, playing in and amongst the divers! One even followed us back to the beach to take a nap! Absolutely insane, and quite intimidating when you look down and a 8ft seal is swimming right under you! It's hard enough to find one monk seal in the water, I would have never imagined 5 at once! They all came to party I guess, they looked to be having a great time!
This forum never disappoints, with posts like your and others from various areas and venues. These are fantastic and not just because of the rarity, but because of the quality of your work. Well done!

beautiful images!! I am getting curious about shooting under water, any pointers on where to get started? (canon gear here, but willing to invest within reason, I hear underwater can get very expensive very quickly)

I am using a Aquatica housing with the canon R5. Yes it does get expensive. I have a friend who recently got a Sea Frogs housing, which was fairly good price and can do everything mine can so I was quite impressed maybe give it a look.
