Splendid set. My pick is the Desert Flower - its colour palette is delicious, but more than that the overall subject softness is a novel touch.
Ross, excellent set here. Love the light on the badlands and the last image is truly special. Definitely earns my vote. Good to see you getting out often and posting. Hope all is well on your end. Thanks for sharing this set

Thank you so much, Parul! I’m doing especially well the last month since I’ve been in my happy places photographing in the Southwest 🥰

Simply excellent Ross. You may live in Ohio but you sure get around out west a lot!
Thank you Raymond! I am very fortunate to have a wife who supports my regular travels alone for the soul purpose of making images that please me, wherever in America is calling my name. She’s looking forward to joining me some of the time when she retires in a few years.
Great set Ross!
The first shot is my favorite. During the daytime this scenery looks pretty plain and featureless. Yet at sunrise and sunset it magically transforms. The textures and colors come alive and you captured it well. Thanks for posting.
Nice, the flowers are at their peak now.
What an awesome place that is.
I discovered the beauty of that part of the desert by taking a turn off in Ocotillo and going through Sweeney Pass to the 78 then up through Julien many years ago. The wife and I try to get out there every March and go discover for a couple days. Endless places to discover.
You've done a fine job capturing the mood of the evening landscape in the Fonts Point photo.

Thanks Jacob! You are right that the badlands are not very aesthetically pleasing when the light is not good.

You were blessed with some nice skies.
Glad you shared.

Thank you Mike! I’m glad you & your wife get to visit there each spring. I agree that there are so many places to explore there, so many canyons beckoning.
That off-road to Font's Point is pretty wild, I can't imagine folks trying it without 4wd! And great capture with the flower blooms, I've always wanted to be there when the flowers were blooming.

Thanks Craig! On this visit that road was mostly hard packed if keeping in the main tracks and seemed in better condition than I remembered from past visits.
