WOW, very neat. You can almost make out a face or...In that last pix.
Glad no one has wrecked this place.

Thank you Bill!

I was pleasantly surprised to not see any signs that people had been disrespectful at this place. While there is a lot to see and absorb at Bisti most of it is some distance (1.5-3 miles) from the parking lot which requires a GPS/Trail App and some advanced planning. We arrived at our first location at Blue Hour, spent the morning there and hiked back to our cars at noon. By noon the temperature had climbed into the low-80's and most of the people we met had left their cars late morning and appeared to be underprepared (little water, no sense of direction, small kids in-tow) and they had returned to their cars while we lunched. While not a hard hike the area is rather unforgivable to those thinking it is an easy walk.

Beautiful area, one of my favorite places to hike in New Mexico! I like your third shot the best, those buried stones in the foreground look almost like some snake in the water.

Rat...this one is easy to find and you've probably been within several feet of it. i'll send a PM if you'd like.

Dan...thank you! This was my first time there and it really is a photo-rich environment. Everywhere you turned was something new. If you're a fan of Minimalism this would be the place to spend several days at.

You've really done a nice job capturing the stark and alien feel of the place!
