I had a great time shooting a portrait session recently. In fact, when I saw the model, she instantly had an Old Hollywood vibe that I wanted to explore more with a black and white series of images.
This small sample of images from the shoot were shot on a Zf with a 50mm 1.2 as well as a Z8 with a 24-70 2.8 with a Godox flash on camera.
Thank you! I saw that the location had nice decor in color too, so I wasn't sure at first if these would be best made into black and white, especially with the flash that I used to override the ambiance of the room.
Just a beautiful series here Chuck! The black and white really does her proud here and your stark division between the whites and her are perfect!
I love the last one because of your use, IMHO, of "soft focus"! She is a very beautiful woman and her feminine softness shows up in the last one!
