That's a fair consideration. It's a noticeable quality jump in well lit conditions in my experience. Specifically sharper images and dynamic range are noticeable compared to both ASPC and full frame sensors even when viewed on smaller screens. It's not a dramatic enough of an increase to justify the cost difference for most people though.
I will say you can find GFX100RFs in excellent condition on ebay shipped from japan for about 3,500$ to 4,000$. At that price it is a worthy consideration IMO.
