En route to White Sands National Park on Wednesday I was concerned about the forecast for high winds up to 35mph, and as I approached the park still 30 miles away I could see the sky filled with a large cloud-like plume on the far horizon from the blowing sand. The air was definitely stirred up when I arrived so I wore a facemask before setting out on the dunes hike. Once again I’m taught the lesson that ‘bad’ weather conditions usually makes for great photographic opportunity. The softened contrast and glowing light made it a joy to shoot. Hope you enjoy the images!
Ross, what a spectacular set! Each and every image is brilliantly composed. The last image would be my favorite. Thanks for sharing. Hope you are doing well.
