Lady luck was on my side when I snagged a walk-in lottery for Coyote Buttes South! Opting for a full-day tour with Paria Outfitters proved to be the perfect choice, maximizing my enjoyment of this incredible landscape. With only 20 visitors allowed per day, the feeling of solitude was almost surreal, like having the entire place to myself. It's impossible to overstate the beauty of the rock formations and their vibrant colors – they truly have to be seen to be believed. Even the overcast skies added a unique charm, with occasional bursts of sunshine illuminating the scene in dramatic fashion.
