p.1 #1 · Roseate Spoonbills Merritt Island - and one snowy egret
From last week at the Blackpoint Wildlife Drive at Merritt Island. Spoonbills were putting on quite the show for everyone. It was a mostly overcast day, but I was able to get what I wanted. Sony a7rV and 200-600 and Canon R5 and 400DO II.
I threw in the Snowy Egret shot because I love their profiles. This image was taken right before sunrise.

Wonderful shots, nicely saturated, Stuart.

Thanks Rex. Saturation is definitely something to watch for when processing images of these beauties. I think these are as close as possible to matching the light of each image and how it really looked on that overcast day.

I love the composition on the first one. Were these all hand-held?
Thanks. I am very pleased with the composition. Yes, all hand held. Fortunately I've been doing weight lifting lately which helped a LOT! The first shot was with the A7RV and the 200-600G lens. I supported the camera by using my elbows against my chest for added stability.
