First time posting on people forum. Always struggle with photographing people This image was captured during my visit to Mount Pilatus. The backdrop of clouds hanging below caught my eye and I just clicked these 2 alphornists.
The altitude, the low clouds, the bright red jackets and the horns...WOW! Well done Parul!
The horns large end appears to be hand painted?
Super composition.

I like how the shadow is pointing to the musicians. The colors are perfect. I can almost hear the heavenly, majestic voices coming from the horns.

That's it!!!! It was the blue sky and red jacket that made me click. A quick search on google shows, " Many makers will then finish the horn with a hard lacquer and decorate the bell with hand-painted flowers or alpine scenes. Some makers even carve the decorations into the wood of the bell in a bas-relief engraving."
