Hello everyone!
Here are some autumn portraits that I have just finished editing.
All shots taken with X-H2, XF 23/1.4 R WR LM, XF 56/1.2 R and Godox TT685II
I will only write, that I regret that I did not have Viltrox 27/1.2 with me when I did these sessions.
But in the end, the XF 56/1.2 saved the day
Enjoy!
Really good work! My only nitpick is that the treatment on the skin is looking a little uncanny in #2 and might look better if the effect were reduced slightly. Otherwise a really great set.
Agree, very nice set. Not a criticism, but personally I would have cropped in a bit more on the first image, however, it does provide a good sense of place.

Thank You for Your insights Daniel
Probably You are right, it's very easy to overdo it with retouching and there's practically no limit to when it is enough.

Well done!
Thank You!
Yes, it was intended to show this nature/surroundings filled with beautiful autumn colors
It is my way of shooting portrait, to embed the model in the environment and play with the background.

All are good, but the "red sweater" shots are tops here, Maciej!

You did her(them) proud!
Dan
Yes it does look like 2 different women to me.
haha
Because indeed there are two different womens in similar scenery, it is my wife and her sister
Excellent choice of wardrobe in #5-8. The sienna sweater makes a great 3-color pallette with the model's hair and the yellow fall foliage. the sweater helps to direct your eye to the subject.
I always love weather like this for doing portraits and in every picture it is visible that you have utilised the weather to the fullest. Each of these portraits are very detailed.
XF56 f/1.2 any version coupled with XF23mm f/1.4 LM WR is my go to kit in any situation. I couldn't explain how much Fuji has improved my fav focal length with their XF23mm f/1.4 LM WR esp. the minimum focusing distance. I know some would argue that Original XF23mm f/1.4 R had some character but what it lacked was a good auto focus and a good minimum focusing distance: both of which were very important to me when I made the switch.
I needed the better AF to capture dance floor shots during wedding reception and a good minimum focusing distance for couple's close ups and bridal details shots.
Again I would add that these were beautiful pictures..!
