For me it is hard to choose. #2 is a conversation with a dialog between the two trees. #1 was my favorite before I started processing - as I set out to make that image, but I made the pano for #2 just to see what it might offer…

Mike, I love this set. #1 would be my favorite 👍🏻
Just outstanding. You have the eye of an artist. The low contrast presentation and slight tonal variation between ground and sky is very appealing. It's interesting how people react most strongly to different images. For me it's the third one.
Cheers,
Brent

Thanks Brent!
Maybe 1/2 hour between the first and third, the light was lovely and changing. Along the way I had a farmer stop and talk to me about the clouds and sky and light - was wonderful, and I managed to have a conversation with him in Swiss German.
Well, odd man out I'm a fan of #3
I like the balance of what the two slopes does for the image with only one tree vs two. I like the rocking motion of the comp, from left to right, then down and around and onto the the horizontal path ........
Each has its merits, each is pleasing, kind of becomes a personal preference IMO
