p.1 #1Bedouin under the tent
Congratulations to lumenspixel for winning Feature Thread of the Week with 5 votes - View Previous Winners
Invited to share tea in a Bedouin's tent at an altitude of 2000 meters in the Lebanese mountains.
Nomadic pastoralism preserves an ancient way of life.
Apart from a few anachronisms, this picture would have been the same 3000 years ago.

Michel a wonderful insight into ancient and modern times!
There are customs that prevail no matter a foreigner or native resident. All are welcome in my tent!
Tres bien!

Michel:
As Dan said - love the vibrancy of the images. I think that first one rivals the Steve McCurry's Afghan Girl. He seems to be gazing right out of the screen at me!
Merci beaucoup!

The man has a face full of character. Great portrait. Perhaps you can tame the background a little as it tends to distract.
