Good timing....just yesterday I was going thru some old boxes and came across my old Minolta X-700, tucked away in its camera bag along with a kit lens and a Tokina zoom. Put some new batteries in but it doesn't power on......could be a capacitor. Going to try to get it repaired.
@Fred Miranda It looks like as you move old threads into the subforum, they are being arranged by time they were added, not last post date, so all relevant threads have disappeared.
Applauding this a bit unexpected move! Takes into account that more film-related posts popped up in the Alt forum since a while. Good move to have them all in one forum with potential cross-posting e. g. into the Alt forum if camera gear related, too.
And of course now the obligatory question: do we finally also get a Leica forum here on FM?
