Hello, I have a +2.0 Leica Correction lens for my Leica M2, but I'm having trouble rotating it fully. Is this a common issue when using this type of lens with the Leica M2 camera?

Thanks for sharing the link, but it doesn't address my question about how far I can screw in the correction lens in the viewfinder. The picture I posted demonstrates the maximum rotation, and I'm curious if this is typical for this camera.
By the way, that's not a 50 Color-Skopar. It's actually a 35/2 Ultron Black Paint.
So, I figured out the issue. I sent the M2 to DAG, and Don repaired the viewfinder threads, which were preventing the lens correction from attaching all the way.

I am using a +1 correction lens on my M cameras (purchased here on FM!) and ran into a similar issue. The diopter lens works well on all M camera threads other than on my M4-2. Here is was sitting a bit loose. I circumvented the issue by using a thin Scotch tape strip on the thread of the diopter lens which holds very well since.

It seems like the viewfinder threads on these old cameras might need some fixing. Don at DAG repaired mine, and now the lens correction rotates properly all the way in.
