This has been my do it all (weddings, sports, portraits, landscape, etc.) lens kit paired with the R5:
RF 70-200 f/2.8 L IS Z
RF 14-35 f/4 L IS
RF 50 f/1.8
It's relatively compact, lightweight, and performance is amazing (including the tiny 50). Looking into a 2x teleconverter for additional reach (sports).

Great thread - always fascinating to see what other wedding photographers are reaching for. I've been leaning on the 35mm and 85mm combo lately. The 35 handles venue details and wide reception moments, the 85 is tough to beat for portraits in tricky venue lighting.

I've shot entire weddings with just a 35mm and 85mm. That said, I currently roll with a Z9 and Z8 with 35mm and 85mm f1.2s as main. When the general dancing starts I'll add the 14-24mm S lens. Sometimes I'll also shoot with the 50mm f1.2 S if the room is tighter instead of the 85mm.
