On a sufficiently bright day, I find the 600PF+2.0TC to be sufficient for fast work. The weakness comes only in 1200mm being a painfully narrow field of view for anything that can change course whilst filling the frame.

Some more bald eagles from the past two weekends. With very cold weather and snow ahead I'll be interested to see if the water at this spot stays open. If it ices back over they'll probably head back downstream where 25-30 other eagles have been congregating at the falls.
