You are probably 100% correct Rags! This is the City of Frederick's water reservoir with no hardwoods on that side of the lake but that loan maple.

It was a horribly hot, dry, humid summer Steve. I didn't expect much when I drove by. But I lucked out!
Many of the trees on the opposite side of the reservoir have dropped their leaves already. It was a very short "leafing" Fall around here.
