How well would a Sigma 14-24mm Art for Canon Mount work with the Fringer adapter?
Anyone tried this?

I am curious as to the AF speed.
If it could be used in a wedding event, or if it would be too slow for such use.

Anyone tried Voigtlander old F mount f3.5 20mm Color Skopar lens?
Voigtlander Color-Skopar 20mm f/3.5 SL II
I wonder if its worth getting instead of newer CV 21mm 3.5 Color Skopar?

I have it but mostly use it on my FM2. Cool at close focus, sharp stopped downn. Here on the Zf

I used it today, compairing it to my brothers Voigtländer 21/1.8 & 21/4.0 (the old LTM, very sharp in the center) and the Color-Skopar gets sharp enough to win the cake at F11. It's a cool pancake on the FM2 but with the adapter it's not that small anymore. Here's a shot at F11.

'if its worth getting instead of newer CV 21mm 3.5 Color Skopar?'

It might be, but they have come a long way in the interim. It mostly depends on your preferences in images, what you want and what you can put up with, plus what you shoot. Not much help, am I?

My path was from the best 21mm Distagon ever made, the CY 21/2.8, to use the little 230 gram Voigtlander - mostly for reason of weight and fast use in mountain travel in very dodgy environs. I needed a small, fast action lens that did not need an adapter. I didn't expect much more than 'pretty good' results that could be enhanced in post.

What a surprise, the 21/3.5 (now discontinued even from Sony E-mount) turned out better images than the very contrasty, and even harsh, 21/2.8D. So your environment matters a lot, was the lesson. I'm a fan of the 21mm, it has a silky pictorial rendering, sharp enough for all but some reviewers. I'll post a couple here for you to look at. I shoot it at f8, where it imparts a fine depth, which matters more than the last 10% of resolution. (My images go in coffee table 13x11 books.)

Here is B&H's page, check the reviews, it will be hard to find anything on it soon:
https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1437613-REG/voigtlander_color_skopar_21mm_f_3_5_aspherical.html/reviews

The hood stays on and the cap fits over it, 52mm filters. Colour and build are totally modern Voigtlander, that is, wonderful. Also works very well in different light conditions, better than many fancy CV lenses in harsh light, in fact.

On second thought, only one image will show you the lens, I don't want to intrude overly on this thread. Taken on a cliff face avoiding a truck in monsoon season Nepal, see the cloud detail and rich but realistic colour, near focus and soft distant fade. Good luck with your decision. On my a7r, the combo weighs 700 grams, making it a one handed option too.

As a newcomer to the ZF and playing with MF, all I can say is I certainly hope they port over the custom AF Box thickness option from the Z8/Z9. It's so easy to lose it on the ZF.

I'm so happy to hear I'm not alone. I missed so many shots because the box was near-invisible. I also made the mistake of having subject detection on so the box would jump all over the frame. Turning that off helped some.

Does the Z8/9 also let you choose a custom color for the focus box? I hate white and would choose yellow or light blue in a heartbeat.

A focus box that in real time would change tones/colors to contrast against the background would be a killer feature.

Only for the 3-D tracking box, manual focus box is red or green depending on focus confirmation.

First time getting to walk around town with my Thypoch 28mm f1.4 and I’m very pleased. Great colour rendition and sharpness wide open.

I ended up going with the M-Mount version with a TTArtisan 6-bit adapter. AF confirmation works, as does 3-axis IBIS and subject tracking.

Is anyone here using custom Picture Control "film simulations" for JPEG SOOC on ZF?

I've tried couple with good portrait shooting results when owned Nikon D600 decade ago, and exploring them again with ZF now after years of shooting Fujifilm X simulations. Any feedback / recommendations?

Custom Nikon Picture Control simulations

A side question, is there a way in ZF to save group custom settings for quick recall at once (e.g. WB and Picture Control together)?

I exactly understand what you are saying. I loved my wee 21mm Color-Skopar on Sony a7c. It was seriously sharp and amazing, for travel I could just go f8 and fire away.
Now when I moved to Nikon, I'm trying to figure out which would be better. Never tried 21/1.8 or 1.4, but those are too big for me, I really liked VM 3.5. When had a copy of SOny E mount version, it was terribly soft, lemon copy, so I went with VM. So F version showed up recently, so thought maybe that would be better, with focus confirmation via FTZ. But I think what I may do is to get VM version and that 6bit artisan adapter and have a nice lens with focus confirmation.

Any news on whether TTArtisan are looking into expanding the featureset of the 6-big adapter?

Would love for the focal length selector to be "programmable" to account fir my lenses.

The lack of user profiles or custom settings recall is a drawback to the Zf.
