p.1 #1 · Wolverine in Calgary - My 15 Minutes of Fame :)
Once in a lifetime for me. Got these wolverine shots at a natural area park, here in Calgary. Never expected to ever even see a wolverine in the wild, let alone in Calgary. I was actually looking for returning osprey in April of this year when this thing crashed through the marsh nearby. Something had spooked him and I don’t think he even saw me at first. Encounter was very brief, but something I will remember the rest of my life. The story and pictures even made the CTV, CBC, Global News here in Canada and was even picked up by the Miami Herald in the States. Hope you enjoy.

Congratulations!... The three by the log are great.
I had a serendipitous opportunity to photograph a wolverine while out taking pictures of bears in BC. The bear photography was incredible, but seeing an photographing the wolverine made my year.

Gordon - WOW, I don't even know where to begin. Unbelievable ! I am happy for you and jealous at the same time. I know that I will never see a Wolverine in the wild, so I am so thrilled for you that you not only saw one but were able to get some great images. For a brief encounter you made the best of it. Thanks Greg! Really appreciate the comment. I was really surprised with all the publicity from it. My Twitter feed exploded after I posted the pics there.
