I was at one of the local ponds last week and WOW I had allot of activity in a short period of time. As I was heading to pond I saw a Barred Owl nestled in the trees, got real excited and when I got to the pond I was getting more and more excited as shown. In the end as I was heading in for the day, I went around the bend in the path, the last photo gave a big smile to end the morning.
Those are some stunning and intense hawk pictures!! I see it is banded as well. Love the Flicker shot Your Green Heron is a good fisherman, nice low angle on those. Barred owl find is always fun, congrats
Wonderful series and yes nice variety!
It's always a treat when we come home to a
great day of seeing a lot of different things.
Owls are always a treat, at least for me. I hardly
ever see them lol.
Great set, Chris. Barred owl is one that I have not captured a picture of one or seen in the wild, although they are spotted here fairly often. Definitely on my list.
