For the past couple of weeks the Green Heron activity has been great. On multiple mornings I've literally had a show put on for me by this Green Heron.

Wow that guy was staying low in stealth mode Louie and you were right there with him! I really like these in the cover of the embankment and grasses. The natural framing on #4 is outstanding Good shooting buddy!

I really like the compositions in picture #4 and #8. In both cases the cattail lean serves to frame or support the heron in a way that matches its posture... the way the external elements impact the main subject adds to much to this series of pictures.
