I've been traveling the last weeks so didn't see the Feature Thread of The Week. Thanks so much for all the nice comments and votes.
For those asking about the road closure - not sure if it is open yet, should be. This was taken a few years ago when I spent the night near the summit.
I've climbed this little peak more times than I can count and never get tired of the views. Looking east, as in this shot, you look into the heart of the North Cascades with Glacier Pk. at center. The view to the west is also sweet looking down on the Puget Sound and across to the Olympics. It is a fantastic back-country ski run in the spring. I was lucky to teach in Granite Falls for 21 years, which is about a 40 min. drive from the trail head so I made many "dusk patrol" after work, often multiple times a week when the conditions were good. I rarely climb it in the summer any more due to the crowds, esp. on weekends.
