I was going to get the 30mm but then this popped up. It's good to get a solid feel for it before I head to Glacier next week and Scotland for an extended stay for in October.
Arrived and all is good -- "TINY LENS" - looks great to me out of the box and works great on the X2D-100C (FW 2.0.1) after upgrading firmware from v1.4.0 to v1.4.1
Just time to take a few quick shots to test all is good. Shot wide open.
I had the opportunity to go out for a brief walk around my village with this new lens on my X2D-100C today - albeit near noon - so not great light and i have pushed the processing a bit to get some decent shots.
The following are heavily downsampled and cropped/adjusted to my taste.
An initial selection of photos can be seen here (downsampled) and full sized here
Could anyone see if the IBIS on their X2D gets deactivated when the 28p is mounted? I saw a review on BH that is saying IBIS doesn't work it (which would make me pass on it cause I need it for handheld night work).

More Hasselblad XCD 4,0/28P test shots taken on an X2D
A "fuller set" of test shots of a test target 520mm / ~20" from the sensor with the XCD 4/28P from at various apertures f/4 to f/32 both "from camera" (the 3FR was simply taken into LRC tweaked see below and exported) and also with two other processing treatments.
Note - JPG & RAW are effectively from camera and then 2 processed versions: one fully processed in LRC (with HC 4/28 lens corrections) with RAW conversion using DxO PureRaw 3; AND also JPG from Phocus with same WB adjustment and tiny keystone correction (see notes below).
All have tiny white balance and exposure correction to land the 20% gray patch to be ~R 80:G 80:B 80 (give or take) and tiny auto transform/keystone corrections applied to address tiny miss alignment by me.
In the fully processed version - since neither DxO Pure Raw 3 nor Adobe CR/LCR have lens correction data for this lens yet I utilised the profile for the HC 4,0/28mm and then played with vignetting settings to match brightness
Phocus 3.7.5 for mac applied adaptive lens corrections, which did address minor barrel distortion then after WB/Exposure/keystone tweaks simply exported medium JPG.
The in-camera JPG shot at f/4, which shows colour/brightness values of R 68.4, G 68.1, B 71.3 near the bottom right corner - whereas as noted the 20% gray tab is almost 80 RGB across the board. This indicates a wee bit of a blue shift towards the corners in the vignetting, which as can be seen is fairly easily fixed. No obvious magenta - where the R values would also vary.
I like other hope that lens profiles are added for this lens to Phocus, ACR/LCR and most importantly for me DxO Pure Raw 3.
