Ordered. If all goes well then mid Sept for delivery. And my 90 looks like mid/late October, finally.
Really looking forward to the 28. A perfect fit to my 55. I'll go from a three lens carry to 4. I'll replace the 30 with the 28 and add the 21mm into regular rotation. Should fit 3 lenses into my reglar small hip bag (21,28,55,90) and the camera over my shoulder with the 4th. Can also have the 28 and 55 on two bodies for quick changes.
The 45P was never my groove but the 28P should fit right in.
I usually only take the 38V with me and I am perfectly happy.
I am no early adopter (anymore) so I will probably wait till the dust has settled.
In general, I really like what Hasselblad is doing with the X system and although I still have a use case for my Leica L-mount gear that use case is getting smaller and smaller.
Same here...will have the 28P this weekend...wow...also just dropped $$$$ on the Nikon z AFS 800mm F6.3 ...might have to hide packages from the wife to stay out of the dog house...
Ordered from the Hassy store within mere minutes of announcement, I get it Monday. I am really pleased they did this, it’s as wide as I will use on the X2D and for now, will pair perfectly with my 45P, 65 2.8 and then all my V lenses 100mm and beyond. I may or may not replace the 45 and 65 with the 38 and 55 next year, I just like the spread of my current kit a lot, especially going from the 65 to the 100CFI on a T/S adapter.
Just received my 28P today...mounted it to the X2D and wow...super impressed, fast focus and appears to be tack sharp...only took a couple pics inside my studio...will try to shoot some test shots later today/tomorrow. Also mounted in my 907x and also impressed...
First negative, I miss the manual focus ring on the lens like the 38v and 55v but...it is a viable tradeoff given the price.
Received the XCD 4/28P this afternoon. Took it out for a quick spin and processed the below image on my phone while waiting at the doctor’s office. Downloaded the photos to my laptop and will post more tomorrow.
Initial observations — well built lens (just like the XCD 55V), fast (for medium format) auto focus, high sharpness across the frame (by f/5.6), superb IQ, similar imaging like the XCD 38/55mm.

Is there or was there a benefit from ordering direct from Hasselblad ?

Well, it showed ships within one day of cleared payment that morning so I went for it, got it yesterday. It's a great lens, very happy with it thus far. It's now sold out everywhere, people are probably looking at 3-4 weeks if ordered today.
Ok. I was looking for a benefit like something tangible. Maybe a pouche a cloth a little extra something.
I’m not to worried if someone already has it vs me ordering it in 3 weeks. It’s a walking around lens vs a Portrait lens which is what I’m going to go buy today.

, ok man. I would say for me, having the lens now and being able to use it on jobs and commissions is pretty tangible but to each his own. I was going to get the 30mm but then this popped up. It's good to get a solid feel for it before I head to Glacier next week and Scotland for an extended stay for in October.
