Just saw this one Louie, glad I found it.... great shots of some GBH action!
I bet the GBH wanted that cat good and dead before he swallowed it... I've been finned by them when they are alive enough to flex those appendages, and the slime injection is quite unpleasant to human epidermis. Even dead, I would definitely want that thing going down headfirst, which most birds do instinctively, so the collapsed spines are facing the entrance not the exit. !
