Great shots of Giza. She really displayed nicely for you - can see the hidden rosettes so clearly in the last one.
Olare Motorogi for the leopard cub? We were there recently and looks like it might be the same one. The cubs also look familiar. If so, looks like you got all the cheetah hunting luck we didn’t quite have - wow! Brilliant hunting shots - got to say that alongside my admiration for the shots I am a bit jealous.
Really look forward to seeing more.
Thanks Paul....yes, we were fortunate with the cheetah....a couple of successful hunts, one in each conservancy we visited. We only had one day with leopards in the Mara but were treated to some nice interactions. We were staying at Kicheche Bush camp and had a morning and afternoon with them. Giza is a treat and worth going to see...I'd do it again in a heartbeat!

Terrific set, Eric!
You caught so many instances of "simple grandeur"--those animals doing what they do every day that so many (including myself) never see. Each frame posted is a visual delight--surely with a story unto itself within the bigger story of your trip there.
You showed us some incredible moments moments--I look forward to seeing more as you work your way through them.

Much appreciated Kim....there were so many special moments that it was difficult pulling my eye away from the viewfinder but I forced myself to do that as often as I could. I hope I conveyed some of what is absolutely magical about African wildlife. While this set focused on the predators, there are so many more fabulous animals and the time spent with them is also quite special.
Simply stunning work Eric! I can only imagine what the rest of your images are like if these are just the teasers. Looking forward to viewing even more!
Dave
Beautiful series, well done! I know how much has to go right and how little time you have to react to a cheetah hunt, so congrats on those awesome photos.

Fantastic shots. As others have said #6 is incredible - one of the best I've ever seen of a chetah hunting.
Thanks...it was pretty wild seeing the cat take off and then the quick twists and turns and then both taking flights.

Thanks Dave....it was a fabulous trip with so many photo ops. And I know my buddy has probably gotten many that I missed.

Thanks, yes having a good guide that was as patient as we were and positioned us correctly made all the difference.

Wow Eric what a set of images. They are all great, but the star of the show is a knockout.
Dave
Thanks Dave...we were hoping for a few good sightings and Giza certainly didn't disappoint except...we had hoped to get her on the rocks that she uses to cross the river but alas, she took different routes each day.

The whole set is excellent, but I love the cheetahs running with all four legs off the ground. Outstanding set!
Thanks so much...to see that in person was quite a thrill...your words are very much appreciated
Eric
Stunning set of images; a wide range of poses and action. The power, speed, and grace culminating in #6. Then you drop #9 on us! Sort of like a movie where you build tension, release it, then build again especially #11.

I really appreciate your kind words....sometimes there's method in the madness....other times just madness

There needs to be a flashing light at the top of this thread to catch everyones's attention - these are incredible and a shame if we skip over the title and miss them. Some of the best! The chase scene is remarkable.
