Your Bee Balm is working much better than our potted white Pentas and Lantana. We get more butterflies on some wild orange & red Pentas that invaded our hedge than anything else, which is weird, but so goes the fickle finger of fate. Maybe the white isn't natural and more of a hybridization and they don't have the same appeal to the critters? Haven't noticed any hummers around here either... yet.
The coloring of the hummers make a wonderful compliment to reds of the bee balm (or is it vice-versa?). Your diligence and bursts of stop-action, fast shutter speeds paid off with these beauties.

It's amazing how small these are even at 15ft with 600 these are large heavy crops! This Bee Balm has kept itself going for many years and always brings in lots of flying critters and the color is wonderful against the greens.
Find some new plants and give it a go Eric, thanks for the kind words!

I don't go out to photograph hummers anywhere, just seeing a pair that visits the garden, seems to be it each year for me. Hope you are doing well and thanks!
