p.1 #1 · is there a Canon R6ii DR performance chart along ISO?
The Ronin 4D has a nice chart that shows how you have less stops in the highlights (5.1) at 200 ISO compared to native at 800 ISO (7.1)
here is a picture, it can also be found on their site. graph
I was wondering if there is similar information for canon bodies?
p.1 #3 · is there a Canon R6ii DR performance chart along ISO?
I'm curious how that Ronin camera separates its DR by tonal range? most CMOS sensors are single well, meaning it just collects light and applies a gain in real time to 'fill' the pixel according to the light entering in real time.
DR has to be higher at lower ISO in these types of sensors, as its just a function of gain, and lower ISO is always lower gain (not always lower read noise though - as demonstrated in some dual gain sensors where different ISOs use different gain circuitry). The chart on photons to photos shows this relationship between ISO and DR exactly this way.
Unless maybe the difference is in the raw conversion and or compression used at different ISOs in the Ronin camera?
