Few people have a clue about how to pose a bride and groom or how to do the group shots or how to shoot in a dimly lit church or at an outdoor ceremony. Fewer still have the skill to produce a professional album for the B&G.
Those things you mention above had no interest to my two boys and a couple of nieces that got married the last 5 years or so. They don’t want the formal pictures and poses…that’s just old fashion by their standards. Not one single photo from the 4 weddings hangs on any walls in either their houses or the parents house. Not a single professional album was made. These things are not important for them.
They loved the spontaneous images taken by the guests with their phones or some cameras. People here would kick those images to the curb, but that is what drives todays young people.
One can buck the trend and look on, or one can change their approach and provide what the customer wants.
