Thanks, Camby. I'm shooting the a7rv and a 200-600. It has a slower top frame rate but I find the greater challenge, esp. at max FL, is keeping the bird or whatever I'm shooting in the frame. I'll pick up an a1 or a1 mark II eventually, but I'm not sure if that will make it any easier to keep these speedy creatures in the frame long enough to acquire focus.
I must have overlooked this for when it was initially posted....excellent set...details, action, poses, and backgrounds are nicely done. Love the shots with the blown-out reds and yellows!
