Wow I didn’t know that.

It angers me so much that they yanked that show from streaming while I was in the middle of it.

I hope they can still manage to get a Season 5 in somehow and realize the ending they worked towards.

"We''re trying to set a tone to let other cinematographers and directors even take it further but keeping within the syntax of the show,” notes Cameron. Daytime interiors and exteriors were captured with KODAK VISION3 50D Color Negative Film 5203 while everything else was shot on KODAK VISION3 500T Color Negative Film 5219 and KODAK VISION3 250D Color Negative Film 5207. "I've been using 7219 for years and only push it half a stop. I know when my eye sees something what's going to render and what color is going to fadeaway more. 5203 is one of the most perfect film stocks ever made that is virtually without any grain; the color rendering of skin tones and the contrast is absolutely gorgeous."

Ok, who doesn't want to shoot Vision3 50D now?

I happen to have a roll of Cinestill 50D in my Nikon SLR. But I really want proper Vision3 50D and ECN2 to get rid of halation.

The skintones in these movie still really got me. https://www.kodak.com/en/motion/blog-post/godland

I actually agree with you here....I love Cinestill but sometimes I do want the colors without the halation effect.

Has anyone purchased from here before:

I purchased some developers from them before, but haven't tried their respools of film.
Freestyle sells some respools of Vision3 intact too:

OK I take it all back Oppenheimer is the film photographer's movie. All that blown out Double-X and saturated interiors shot on Vision3. Wow.

Saw it at the Chinese Theater. 70mm film print. Complete with occasional hair or lint on the gate. Probably added to the filmy'ness of it all.

Just watched the last Star Wars trilogy movie and really enjoyed the color grading and character only to find out it was shot on Super 35.

For a stark contrast Attack of the Clones was the first Star Wars movie shot on digital. A Sony 2/3rds sensor!
