Sorry, not the city.
Meet Vegas the Golden Retriever. "Starlight's Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" is her proper AKC name.
She was born on March 21, 2023 with eight other brothers and sisters. You may have seen a couple of posts of the gang a few weeks back playing outside. Everyone else went to their respective new homes. This one is ours.
On June 24, (approx 13 weeks) grandmommy entered her is her first conformation dog show at Purina Farms in/near St Louis Mo. In every event she was entered for her age group and puppy class she took the first place ribbon including Best Of Show in Bred By (owner bred the dog).
To say that grandmommy was ecstatic would be an understatement.

Dan,
She is definitely a character. But....aren't they all?
On the last one, grandmommy was sitting in the chair enjoying a Cutie and she was trying so hard to convince her she needed a bite...or two. I ran and grabbed the camera! Highest ISO I've ever used...started at 12,800 and should have stayed there. Ended up with 6400 hand holding a 100-400 at 300mm....f5.6 at 1/125th.
I think you need to head the the shelter and adopt. You have lots of love to give to a much deserving fur baby...or two.

You'd better keep her! If you don't, send her to me.
Love the dirty face in #2 and the excellent #5.
csenior, You'll have to take a number and get in line.
The dirty face....she discovered that she could really dig deep in the mulch. A good time was had.

The main reason we have not adopted another "child" is my wife's health. I have been home very little the last 2 years due to Suzanne's intestinal problems. Surgeon caused by lack of medical history.
I was staying at the hospitals, multi hospitals, all night and I could not leave my "child" alone at home for any length of time. I have no one to trust with its care and just could not do that to my child.
