Pictures from awhile back. Unfortunately I dinged the hood on my Noct Nikkor so
I had to send the lens back to Nikon to replace the hood. At least it is not
nearly as expensive as when I dinged the hood on my Leica 50/2 apo

At official Nikon Thailand Nikon Zf launch event. They set up a few scenes to test out the camera.
I brought along my Noct and z8 just in case
Kind of wish the female model would slap the male model a few times for dramatic effect

I did not get to play with Zf actually as I brought my own camera and several people did not bring anything
so I let them try the demo Zf and I used my Z8.
However, I will know in 2 days as I plan to get one myself. At the moment with subject recognition working in manual mode, that will make using Noct Nikkor much easier but I hope Small Rig grip will make Zf more comfortable to use with heavy lenses. At today's launch, looked like Zf will bring quite a few nifty features that I hope will get to Z8/Z9 in the future.

I was going out just to photograph some Christmas light but ran into this show unexpectedly with only my Noct Nikkor. Oh well... AF and wider lenses would make life a lot easier They just would not stand still for me to focus!!!!

I've been experimenting with using the NOCT for running events. Can create a cool look. I would love to see subject detection come to the Z8/Z9 for this lens.
