Nice shot. Question - Do you guys just have luck that clouds, fog, light all turn up or it is more like staying same place visiting for a few days and then you get a shot. Would be nice to tell more of the back story in getting the shots.
I dont post the full story here but because you asked :
Golden Glow at Podere Belvedere
I embark on a journey to one of my all-time favorite places, armed with my camera to capture a moment frozen in time. When a dream transforms into a coveted item on your bucket list, and after years of anticipation, it finally materializes, the sense of fulfillment is unparalleled. Yet, lurking in the shadows is the ever-present specter of failure, a formidable adversary when you dare to choose a day and travel 4,000 miles to a foreign land, braving the capricious whims of weather and uncertain availability.
The secret lies in unravelling the tapestry of fate, meticulously planning to secure your spot a few hours before the break of dawn, determined to be one of the chosen few. And so, in that enchanting locale, I embarked on a two-hour odyssey, forging new paths, seeking the perfect composition that would resonate with my soul. A singular stroke of fortune blessed me that day, for the secluded nook I stumbled upon could accommodate no more than a duo. For the remainder of my mornings in Tuscany, I became its sentinel, claiming my place at the sacred hour of 4 am, vowing to ensure the triumph of this extraordinary quest.
Throughout my sojourn, I witnessed nature's caprices firsthand—days shrouded in veils of rain, clouds, and ethereal fog, cloaking the landscape in mystery. The sun, an unruly painter, played hide-and-seek with the rolling hills, casting an ever-changing symphony of light and shadow. It felt as if I were riding a thrilling roller coaster of emotions, caught between awe and exhilaration.
Now, my heart swells with excitement as I unveil two versions of my prized creation, 'Golden Glow at Podere Belvedere.' The first, a panoramic masterpiece with a captivating 1/3 ratio, effortlessly transports you to the very essence of that enchanting moment. The second, a classic 35 mm rendition, allows the sun's brushstrokes to dance upon the majestic canvas of Orcia Valley's undulating hills, while the mystical embrace of fog imparts an everlasting, almost eternal aura.
Oh, and how could I forget! Tuscany, a realm where dreams come alive, holds an illustrious place in the world of moviemaking. Thus, it stands as a testament to the captivating allure that has enthralled filmmakers for generations
