An absolutely incredible set of images, each one of these are a winner. You've shared images that a good many of us would never see out in the wild.
Louie
Louie - Thank You ! It's always special to see Grizzy cubs and I wish others could witness it, cause it's pretty cool.

A wonderful tour-de-force Gregory! How long were you able to spend with them and what were the circumstances?
Douglas
Thank You Douglas. In the course of 3 weeks of looking I only saw them on 3 different occasions. They would come out into the open for a short period of time then back into the forest. I was very lucky to get the images I did.

That would not be a photo shoot for me, that would be a life affirming interaction! Wonderful captures of the essence of cub-hood. You can post image heavy stuff like that any time AFAIC.
Eric
Thank You Eric. I appreciate you taking the time to view and comment.

Super nice set Greg! Love the log crossing #12 shot.
It looks like she didn't mind you hanging around with them based on all the various terrain you have in your images. I don't know Grizzly behavior as well as I do Black bear, but I've found most moms with cubs don't mind as long as you keep your distance and give them their space. Although I've had a couple give me the "3 step charge" a few times. I think that was due to the early summer heat and bugs had them irritated already.
Dave - I spent the 3 weeks before Memorial Day in YNP. I saw this sow and cubs on three different occasions. Lucky to get what I did with her. She didn't hang around very long. Thanks for looking I appreciate it.
Gorgeous work - Kudos to you for doing the hard work to get out into 'it' and put yourself into such a great situation. I love me some bears....from afar!
